Island Images - The Isle of Man in Pictures

A semi vertical view of the Tower of Refuge. It's a fairly high tide which is hiding most of the Conister Rock, which was a serious hazard to shipping in the days of sail.  The tower was constructed in 1832 to shelter shipwrecked mariners.
