'RNB Sir William
Hillary' heads back to the harbour passing a local landmark, the Tower
of Refuge, completed in 1832 on the orders of Sir
William Hillary to provide shelter for shipwrecked mariners.
Sir William was the founder of the RNLI in 1824 and served on the orginal
Douglas lifeboat (rowed with oars!)
