18th April
These pictures were taken on a walk on Thursday afternoon, from Port Erin to Fleshwick and back over Bradda Head.  Unfortunately the weather was
rather dull for most of the time, but it's a great walk although the climb from Fleshwick to Bradda is a bit on the steep side!
Pictures all taken on the Panasonic TZ60 compact camera.

Some tram pictures from a trip up Snaefell on the mountain railway yesterday.  The would normally have been in the Railways section but were all
post processed in Corel PSP, all but the last using the 'Time Machine - Early Colour' filter, so more properly belong in the general pictures section.

20th April
Pictures from a walk on Saturday afternoon from Port Erin to Cregneash, The Sound and back to Port Erin along  the coast path, nearly all on
footpaths or green lanes apart from a small amount of road in Port Erin and Cregneash. Pictures taken with TZ60

Some aerial shots taken yesterday morning in the Ronaldsway and Langness areas.  Operation of a Small Unmanned Aircraft there was only undertaken
after co-ordination with Ronaldsway Air Traffic Control.  The quadcopter used was the DJI Phantom 2 Vision +. This is equipped with a wide angle
lens on the camera that produces quite a lot of distortion on horizons, which can be partially corrected by post processing.

24th April
The fantastic weather and (more importantly) light winds of the last few days have made great flying conditions for the quadcopter.  The following pictures were taken over three days flying from the beach at Douglas with the last five from Douglas Head.

Some pictures taken on a visit to Ballaglass Glen on Tuesday, not many bluebells yet but still a wonderful and enchanting place

25th April
Pictures taken on a trip to Ramsey

27th April
Aerial pictures taken yesterday morning with the Phantom 2 Vision+ quadcopter. As these flights took place within the Ronaldsway Aerodrome Traffic Zone and also very close to the airport boundary on the first flight, they were only undertaken after full consultation with Air Traffic Control. A useful guide to flying small remotely piloted aircraft in the Isle of Man is available here from the Isle of Man Civil Aviation Authority.

29th April
