Cars No.
1 - 6
All of the cars were
built by G.F. Milnes and delivered in 1895 for the opening of the line.
Car No 5 was burned out at the Summit in August 1970 as a result of an
electrical fault, but was rebuilt and back in service the following year.
More recently, Car No
3 was involved in a 'run away' incident from the Summit on the 30th March
2016 which resulted in the car being destroyed when it left the tracks
near Bungalow. The car was empty and unmanned at the time.
