 August 2016
Sunday 7th August 2016 was the 140th anniversary of the opening of the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway.  To celebrate this occurrence (which might easily have not happened, the tramway being threatened with closure) there was a parade of trams from Derby Castle to the Sea Terminal and back.

The Crogga Valley Railway
A privately owned 7 1/4" gauge railway in the ground of Crogga House, near Port Soderick which can be seen from passing trains on the isle of Man Steam railway.  Many thanks to the owner Chris and his crew for arranging a great visit!
