Manx Electric Railway

The Manx Electric Railway - Seventeen miles long, the Electric Railway remains much as it was built. Opening in 1893 it runs from Douglas through Laxey to Ramsey and is built to 3ft gauge and operated by electric tramcars and trailers. The original vehicle built in 1893 is still in regular service.
