Morecambe
On the drive up to the Lake District after our crossing from Douglas to Heysham on 'Manxman'.  We stopped at the iconic Midland Hotel in Morecambe for lunch
and afterwards I did a flight over the sands at low tide with the new Mini 4 Pro.

Hawkshead
The day after settling into our luxurious accommodation at Osprey Croft, I had a fairly extensive car tour planned, hoping to get some good aerial photography done from a few locations around the route.  Before we set of though I took advantage of a quick flight from the decking outside, to look at the little village of Hawkshead, which lies on a small plain in the hills between Windermere and Conisiton lakes.

Coniston Water
First planned stop on our drive out was Conisiton village, in order to buy food for a picnic lunch out somewhere in the mountains, but on the way we stopped so that I could carry out some aerial photography at the north end of Conisiton Water.  After buying lunch we went down to the lakeside for another flight.

Birker Fell, Eskdale & the Hardknott Pass
I didn't have a particular plan for a lunch location, but we found a spot with a superb view at Birker Fell before continuing via Eskdale and the Hardknott Pass.

The day was mainly taken up visiting some shops in Ambleside and having a leisurely lunch there, but afterwards we had a drive around to the north and I managed to get one drone flight in, from the shores of Ullswater.  It was spoiled a little though with a (possibly) close encounter with an RAF Typhoon.

The final full day of our trip to the Lake District and another sightseeing tout from Hawkshead, taking in a few more of the mountain passes.  Heading north from Windermere over the Kirkstone Pass to Patterdale and Ullswater before turning west to Keswick.  Then via the Whinlatter pass to Crummock Water and Buttermere before climbing up from that valley, over the Honister Pass and dropping down the other side to Seatoller.  Four aerial panoramas shot in different locations.
