Island Images - The Isle of Man in Pictures

No 1 'Sutherland'. One of three locomotives delivered in 1873 for the opening of the first passenger line on the island, from Douglas to Peel. No 3 still exists, preserved in Manchester where it was built, but No 2 was scrapped in the 1950s.
