Island Images - The Isle of Man in Pictures

The headland south of Groudle beach was the home of the Howstrake Holiday Camp. Established in the late 1800s it finally closed in 1985 after a disastrous fire.  Recently all remaining traces have been removed leaving this scar on the hillside.
