The Snaefell Wheel, 'Lady Evelyn'. This wheel was orginally installed in 1865 at the Snaefell Mine, around 2.5 miles further up the valley. Sold off island to Cornwall in 1910 it was reconstructed here in 2006 by the
Laxey Mines Research Group
