Some (mainly) aerial pictures taken yesterday morning at the Point of Ayre with rather dull weather conditions.  I was lucky though that the 'MV Balmoral' happened to pass by on an island excursion while I was flying there.  DJI Phantom 4 Pro 5/7/17  (also Panasonic TZ60)

Aerial photography in the Niarbyl area on Thursday afternoon.  At first it was quite cloudy and dull (first three pictures) but while I was at the White Beach the sun broke through for the second two flights.   DJI Phantom 4 Pro  6/7/17

Aerial pictures in the Cregneash area, taken on Tuesday afternoon.  -  DJI Phantom 4 Pro  11/7/17
As these flights were going to take place under the final approach path to the Isle of Man Airport and adjacent to a private helicopter landing site,
they were only undertaken after co-ordination with Air Traffic Control at Ronaldsway.
 
The Neolithic stone circle (burial chamber) on Mull Hill above Cregneash Village
The extensive WW2 Chain Home Low Radar site on Mull Hill. There were at least five different radars installed here.

Twenty eight new Railway pictures from the fifth and final day of the 2017 Manx Heritage Transport Festival are in Railways 2017 Pt2. Mainly of the Manx Electric Railway at and around Derby Castle, when they were operating and intensive service with twelve of the thirteen currently operational tramcars were out 'on the road' at the same time, 1893 Car No 2 being kept in reserve at Derby Castle.  There was also a 'double headed' run on the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway with William and Douglas pulling the double deck tramcar.   Nikon D7100 30/7/17
